Guacamole Dip is an avocado-based spread, or salad first developed in Mexico. Guacamole contains a noteworthy amount of several vitamins and minerals. Most notably is potassium, essential for the muscular and circulatory system. The staple ingredient of guacamole is the avocado fruit, the other ingredients can vary, but often include items like lime juice, garlic, onion, tomato, coriander and salt.
You can eat this Mexican food with tortilla chips or as a topping and sandwiches. Avocados contribute vitamins, minerals and healthy fats to the dish. In moderation, guacamole is a healthy addition to a balanced diet.

- 1 Avocado (Ripe)
- 2-3 teaspoon finely chopped onion
- 2-3 teaspoon finely chopped tomato
- 1 green chilly finely chopped
- Some fresh chopped coriander leaves
- 2 garlic cloves grated (or crushed)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (or few drops) lemon juice
- Salt as per taste
How to make Guacamole Dip:
Step1: Cut Avocado into half and using spoon remove the ripe pulp in a bowl. Using back of the spoon mash it into a smooth paste, should not have any chunks.
Step2: Add all ingredients to the avocado paste i:e chilly, garlic, onion, tomato, coriander leaves, lemon juice, black pepper and salt as per your taste. Mix everything well. Check and adjust salt and lemon juice as required.
Guacamole dip is ready. Serve it with nachos, potato chips, toasted bread or as sandwich spread.
