Mango Mastani is the famous street food of Sujata Mastani from Pune. Mango Mastani is a delicious mango milkshake that is loaded with fresh ripe mangoes, ice cream & dry nuts. It is named after Peshwa Bajirao’s Mastani Bai for her eternal beauty. It is an ideal refreshing drink for the hot and humid summer season by lowering the body temperature. The recipe primarily uses fresh ripe mangoes to get the consistency but can also be prepared with frozen and mango pulp.

During the hot summer months when mangoes are in season, this refreshing drink is made to quench a summer thirst. This is a very easy and simple recipe and tastes just awesome. Mango milkshake is the very epitome of Indian summers and that one drink you have to have.

Its a no complicated recipe or no measurements are necessary. You just add milk, ripe mango, and your favorite flavor of ice cream to a blender. Want it a little thicker? Add more ice cream. How to make Mango Mastani:

Step1: Take the ripe mango and peel it. Cut it into pieces and transfer these pieces into the blender. Add scoops of ice-cream, ice-cubes and sugar. You can adjust the proportion of sugar depending upon the taste of mango.

Step2: Top mangoes with the chilled milk. This amount is up to you. Use less milk for a thicker shake and more milk for a thinner consistency.

Step3: Cover blender with lid and blend until the mixture is very smooth.

Step4: To assemble, in a tall glass take 1 tablespoon mango pieces.

Step5: Pour some mango shake into the glass. Top it with vanilla or mango ice cream, few chopped mango chunks, tutti frutti, and chopped nuts. Again pour half cup mango milkshake. Scoop it up with more vanilla ice cream, chopped nuts, and tutti frutti. Garnish with cheery and Mango Mastani is already. Enjoy!
